Welcome to Plantery AI ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading, accessing, or using the Plantery mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the App.

1. Use of the App

Plantery AI is an application designed to help users identify plants, diagnose plant diseases, and manage plant care schedules. The information provided by the App, including AI-generated diagnoses and care tips, is for general informational purposes only and should not be considered professional botanical or agricultural advice.

2. User Accounts and Device Identity

To provide you with a personalized experience, we may generate and store a persistent device identifier. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device. We are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to protect your device or data.

3. Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

Certain premium features of the App, such as advanced AI Botanist chat and unlimited plant scanning, require a paid subscription.

Subscription Plans

• Plantery Premium (Weekly): $0.99 per week
• Plantery Premium (Monthly): $2.99 per month – Most Popular
• Plantery Premium (Yearly): $29.99 per year – Best Value

All plans include unlimited plant scans, unlimited AI Botanist chat, and access to all premium features.

Subscription Terms

• Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the cost of the chosen subscription plan.
• Subscriptions may be managed and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Account Settings in the App Store after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription.

Credits

• Credits purchased or granted within the App are non-transferable and do not have real-world monetary value.

Refunds

All payments are processed by Apple via the App Store. Refund requests must be directed to Apple according to their refund policies.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or hack the App's API, credit system, or algorithms.
• Upload malicious content, viruses, or code that may harm the App or our servers.
• Spam, abuse, or artificially exploit the AI chat or scanning features.

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, graphics, and intellectual property associated with the App belong to Plantery AI. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of the App without our prior written consent.

6. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. While we strive for accuracy, we do not guarantee that the AI plant identification or disease diagnosis will be 100% accurate. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to the implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plantery AI and its developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising out of or in connection with your use or inability to use the App, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will notify users of any significant changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this document or via an in-app notification. Your continued use of the App after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
